JC Party

I had a pretty fun time at the Christmas party last night. Their was some food we could snack on, that was good. I did note like the Santa at the party, but he gave out some treats!!! That was nice. Jasmine got a stomachache , so we had to go home before the party ended. It was fun.

Ballet Recital

Here we are one more year and minus Noah boy, and now Mia chan!!!

Jas could have the day done just like that because she only danced one program this year. We were in the states for 6 mo., and she did not have the practice for the other two. Still, one dance cost about $1,000. We were a little surprised.

Jasmine's dance was cute though!

MISAWA AVIATION & SCIENCE MUSEUM, AOMORI

I went to the MISAWA AVIATION & SCIENCE MUSEUM! It had so many things to do. I did a running thing that shows how fast you are running. I was running 21.8 miles a hour! And their was this other thing that shows how fast you are swinging a baseball bat. i swung it 100 miles an hour!!!! Their were so many other things to do, it would take so long to explain it all. my brother cross had a fun time as well. we went in a real plane! Cross got to run around a lot. He had fun touching every thing he saw. They had a thing that showed how a real tornado is made! I got to touch it. i also got to eat two ice creams! they were good!!!! we also went in a spinning room, and we tried to throw a ball to each other. the room was spinning so the ball went in strange directions. When the ball fell on the ground it was hard to pick it up. I kept falling on the ground! i got a lilttle dizzy. It was really fun i want to go again some other time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Towada, Oirase Gorge

This time of year is really nice at Towada Lake. There are so many streams and falls. On this particular day, there were so many tourists. Look at the very old Japanese house. One day we want to celebrate something special here. It just sits alone in front of the lake!

Piggy ride

Today Dad road on a big pig, at the farm. The pig didn't move that much after he got on. I tried to take a picture of it with dads camera phone. It didn't come out that good. Then dad put on the light on the phone. Then it came out a little better than last time. Then the pig went running off, he ran off a little faster than I thought It would run! It was cold out side so I had to move around a little to keep my blood temperature up. We got a good picture a few days later because dad brought a real camera with us. It came out really good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Halloween, a little early

Maybe zoom in . This is called the `boy mountain.' It is beautiful, but is thought to have many spirits!

We drove to Morioka again for a party at Oasis language school. The entire street had a festival too. The guy with the hammer is making sticky rice. This is a very old custom in Japan. You can see baby with daddy, and mommy with Noah and Jas! Thank you Elvis and Mariko!

The Zoo

Here we see the Morioka Zoo. This place is about 1 .5 hours from us. It rained of course, but we had a fun day!

Marathon

Jas is running, in the 2 pictures; and boy does she look tall! Cross is wondering what is going on, and I was wondering who that kid was running with that long hair. It was my own Noah!

Ninohe Catholic Church

This is it! Our church is very and I mean very tiny!
Our favorite priest is now gone, but we do have a replacement as you can see.

The Tanaka House

On Saturday we drove to a place called Fukuchi. This house is 120 years old and is in the Tanaka family. I guess years ago this family owned a huge business. They possibly owned most of the town. We were interested in a display that they had on this particular weekend that included rugs from all over the world. All items could be purchased too. Notice the great gardens of the place. We could smell incense as we walked toward the front entry. Moss grew on the table top too.
